@MikeΑ,

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!

What HP Compaq 8200 Elite model do you have: AIO, USDT, SFF, Tower/MT?

Max RAM AIO: 2 x 4GB of DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 204-pin RAM sticks.

Max RAM USDT: 2 x 8GB of DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 204-pin RAM sticks.

Max RAM SFF: 4 x 8GB of DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 240-pin RAM sticks.

Max RAM MT: 4 x 8GB of DDR3 PC3-12800, 1600 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 240-pin RAM sticks.

As far as storage drives is concerned, I would recommend SSD SATA 2.5-inch 7mm (possibly with 9.5mm adapter) drives. Any capacity drive (1TB, 2TB, etc.) will work just fine.

Hello

Thank you very much for answering my question.

I don't know where to find that information you asked me.

Is it at the bios?

@MikeΑ,

The ID sticker identifies your desktop as an SFF (small form factor).
