HP Compaq Elite 8300 AIO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently purchased an HP Compaq Elite 8300 AIO and was planning on upgrading it into a gaming computer but in order to do that I need to know what available expansion slots the computer has. I was wondering if anyone knew all available expansion slots and if someone could please help me out

@JaydenA , welcome to the Community.

Is this your computer?   If so, here is the "Illustrated Parts and Service Map" for it.  It will give you all of the information on the System Board.  If not, please provide the product number.

@JaydenA,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

@old_geekster beat me to it, but I would like to add my comments too.

If you expect to create a gaming computer using an HP Compaq Elite 8300 All-in-One, you're likely going to be disappointed unless you plan to play only the most basic of games, say from the early eighties.

According to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-compaq-elite-8300-all-in-one-desktop-pc/5272027/document/c03... and: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03821564.pdf, this is what you can do: best CPU: the i7-3770, and pair it with 2 x 8GB RAM.  If your MXM slot is empty, you could add an AMD Radeon HD 7650A 2GB graphics card which you can purchase starting at around $23 on eBay: AMD Radeon HD 7650A: Search Result | eBay, you likely also need the Heat sink for use with the MXM graphics board (HP p/n: 698603-001), which you can buy via eBay starting around $40: hp 698603-001: Search Result | eBay.

Again, to be honest, the gaming abilities of this AIO are, well, not particularly overwhelming: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Compaq-Elite-8300-All-in-One-PC/5182.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
