@Finnball,

Your HP Compaq Pro 6305 Small Form Factor Business PC, according to: https://support.hp.com/id-en/product/hp-compaq-pro-6305-small-form-factor-pc/5296265/document/c03522... and: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03916058.pdf, is fitted with a 240-watt (HP p/n: 613762-001 or 613763-001) power supply.

A low profile GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 graphics card, such as the MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GT Low Profile Graphics Card, would physically fit inside your desktop, but the recommended system power requirement for such cards is 300 watt, which you don't have.

Other sources suggest a 250-watt minimum power supply for the aforementioned graphics card (see: MSI GTX 1050 Ti LP Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database), which means that your 240-watt -especially if you got the 90% efficient 240-watt power supply (HP p/n: 613762-001) could possibly* work.

* Try at your own risk -no guarantees.
