I got an update for the HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS update (ROM Family SSID 84f0) for my HP Pavilion All-in-One 24-xa0xxx but wouldn't install. Instead, it gave me an error message that it is "older than current version in system and cannot be executed". I recently did an BIOS update SSID 84EF on 1/26/2023 with no problems. So, do I need this 84f0 update or not? Please help.

Hi
I would think the 84F0 BIOS update is a mistake for your specific MB. HP may have used two MBs in this product.
You have a 84EF MB https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06118919
It appears you have the latest BIOS for this MB https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-all-in-one-pc-24-xa0000a/3809...
