HP E27d G4 QHD USB-C Docking Monitor
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP E27d g4 monitor

I have a problem with the internet speed

If I connect an external network card to USB C or USB A in my HP G10, the speed is around 1 Gbit/s

If I connect the same LAN cable directly to the monitor, the maximum speed is 220 Mbit/s

If I connect an external USB A network card to the monitor, the speed is 220 Mbit/s

The monitor does not let me through the speed over 220mbit

FW is the latest drivers latest all from HP.com site.

Hp Support Assistant cannot find any updates on either the G10 laptop or the monitor

The screen is 1 month old, the laptop is 3 days old

Please help

The HP E27d G4 has absolutely nothing to do with the internet speed your laptop is able to connect with and achieve.

The HP E27d G4 is nothing more than a display and graphical user interface to your PC.

I don't know why my laptop works at 1Gbit if I connect it directly to the LAN.

But when I connect the LAN cable to the screen, and from the screen USB C to the laptop, it is 200mbit/s. Although it is supposed to be up to 1Gbit/s

That is because the USB Type-C connection at the display USB-type-C connection is not Thunderbolt capable.

It appears that your expectations may have exceeded what the display is capable of.

The display only has a basic USB Type-C connection.

I suggest making the network connection at the laptop and  connecting  it to the display with a display connection.

no again.

I bought the screen only after checking it with my neighbor.

He has the same model...

With him, his screen normally works up to 1gbs, with the same settings as mine.

Even my laptop works at 1Gbs at his home

We also tried all his cables... it doesn't help

something is wrong and we can't find what
