Looking to upgrade from the factory installed 16 Gb of RAM on my HP ENVY All-in-One 32-a1055. When I look at the Crucial site, it indicates the system can support up to 64 GB of RAM (32 per slot), and that I can select either the DDR4-2666 or the DDR4-3200 version. I was just hoping to verify that the machine can indeed support that amount of memory and speed. Has anyone else tried this upgrade? Thanks for any advice or guidance you can offer! Colin

Hi:
The HP memory upgrade specs for your PC indicate that it can support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-2666 MHz memory.
DDR4-3200 memory will also work fine and will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz.

You can do this to see how much memory your PC can support.
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
