Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Your HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1022 (13Z69AA) as per: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c06702075 and: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c06638240, is fitted with a 180 watt power supply and the Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767).
You should upgrade your power supply, and according to: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model..., these are the two options I would recommend: the 400 watt HP p/n: L69242-800 (6+2-pin PCIe power cable) which can power graphics cards such as a GTX 1660 Ti or GTX 1660 Super, or the 500 watt HP p/n: L05757-800 (6+2-pin PCIe and 6-pin PCIe power cables) which can power graphics cards such as RTX 2060 Super or the RTX 3050.
You want to make sure that whatever graphics card you choose, that your (upgraded) power supply supports it and that your card will fit inside your desktop case.
You can get the suggested power supply units online, such as the 400 watt L69242-800 here, for example: NEW HP Pavilion ENVY TE01 400W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply L76557-001 L69242-800 | eBay, and the 500 watt L05757-800 here, for example: L05757-800 original HP Desktop-PC power supply 500 Watt - sparepartworld.com.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,

you should indicate a budget
For what type of games, give one or two examples of the most powerful if possible
You don't need a hugely powerful graphics card, if you play this type of game for example
https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/minecraft/11356
https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/requirements/fortnite/15349
since you will probably have to replace the power supply this is an additional expense, so you can end up with almost $100 less for the graphics card
given the limitations of the maximum possible power you will not be able to use certain graphics cards
So not possible to play in Full ultra for many games
just example

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 10GB
https://fr.msi.com/Graphics-Card/GeForce-RTX-3080-GAMING-X-TRIO-10G/Specification
750 W
