Two questions...
1. What is the maximum M.2 secondary SSD that can be installed in the HP ENVY Desktop TE02-0250xt motherboard?
2. Can move and install a 2.5" SSD with Windows7 & Windows10 on it, set up the TE02 BIOS to dual boot and effectively have 3 OS's running? The new system will come with Windows11, old system is running W7 & W10.

hi
this model seems very recent, and there is nothing at all here:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-desktop-pc-te02-0000i/2100828663/product-info
do you have an idea of the model of the motherboard ?
because just for the question of the second ssd m2
I have a doubt, because if we look here
first M2
1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
second
1 TB WD Black PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD
seems possible, but we can't verify anything
unless you have already found both slots available, and with a m2 wifi?

Yes this a new PC, in fact HP state they will prepare it in mid May 2022! However I've spec'd it with no second SSD M.2 and see on the page that allows for customization they only offer the 1TB option for the second M.2 slot. I'm wondering if the tech' community know if there is a capacity limitation. If so I'm somewhat surprised as WD offer a 2TB SSD which is what I'd like to at least be able to install. Hopefully.
Regarding the Motherboard, I don't have the boards number.
Another question... the Desktop has a bay for a HDD. I presume that with an adaptor a potentially third SSD can be installed?
Obviously I'm trying to prepare for when the desktop arrives later this year.
I appreciate all your insight and support.

unfortunately we are mostly just simple hp users here, and we don't have all the information for the models, let alone the new ones
If you have a 3.5 hdd slot, you can install a 2.5 ssd with adapter..
but we can't know if you will have the sata data and/or power connectors in place, it depends!
I had not answered for windows 7, there were already problems with the previous computers, I doubt that this is possible with the brand new ones
A dual boot windows 10 should be possible, but it is something that I have not been able to try currently with a recent computer
It may just be complicated for the dual, with the uefi options, secure boot ..
I know that for the previous version, it was necessary to have a precise order of installation, otherwise, no dual ..
I had tested, and had to use software to have the option to start both ..
I did not inquire for windows 11 and windows 10, no time, and the configuration to try (small ssd m2)
I doubt, to be able to answer more effectively since nothing is currently available for this model
sorry
[edit] for SSD m2 1 to or 2 to
it must be just the hp configuration, a choice!
if a 1tb ssd works i don't see why it wouldn't work with a 2tb
after that it's just my opinion, because no need for such a large capacity
and if it breaks, a bigger loss, I prefer several smaller ones
