Product: HP ENVY h8-1500et Desktop PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

"I would like to get information about the motherboard of my HP ENVY h8-1500et computer. I need to know the ROM family of this motherboard because I am planning to update the BIOS. However, I am not sure which version I should install."

Type: System Information

 

The System information app should show up.

 

Run the app and look for the Baseboard Product line about 1/3 of the way down on the report.

 

It should be 2AD5.

 

All of the BIOS updates on your PC's support page indicate that they are good for the 2AD5 SSID (ROM family).

 

The latest BIOS is v8.21.
