It actually depends on the CPU chip. See here.

There are 4 slots, the longest is the PCIE x 16 graphic slot. According to specs, it has a GT640 card residing in the slot. The PSU is 460W. What card do you imagine, and why? A specific game ? Also, what CPU chip do you have?

I would like to upgrade to a GTX 1080 ti because I am lead to believe its the best card out at the moment that I can afford.
The reason I need a upgrade is that I have a 4K monitor and while the GTX 960 I have is fine for most things, it will not game well in 4K so im usually running at 2K or under in games.
I have the i7-3770 ivy bridge.

Be sure to research any card, the GTX 1080Ti, and it's silbing the GTX 1080 can be quite large. Also do your research on the exact model, search for XXX named card problems.
I just went the GTX1080 route, and 4K monitor. I can not state publically what I bought.
