Hello,
i have a few questions, related to same model, HP Elite Slice.
Is there a known & compatible 65W or 90W USB-C power supply?
I just find this part number based on quick search:
2LN85AA
Is that working? Or may some dock which is verified being working?
Some Lenovo 65W USB-C charger and Dell USB-C screen with power supply function (65W) can both not power the device.
3 long red beeps and 4 white ones
--> crowbar.
Normally 65W should be enough unless there are 2 or more modules attached...
This is may related to this existing thread where no working one was found:
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Video-Display-and-Touch/HP-Elite-Slice-power-supply-via-USB-Ty...
2nd question, if via original Power Supply there is no reaction but via USB-C power function, how big is chance that motherboard or else is broke?
Primary reason is that via some original and working Elite Slice 90W power supply (tested on other machine), the device is simply not starting, no reaction whatsoever, it simply doesnt turn on, no noise or LED there.
Connectors, RAM etc was all checked, nothing visible (& no smell).
Ultimately i want to know if I can "rescue" the device, would be sad to throw it in bin, even i could use it for spare parts.
Thanks for sharing thoughts and experiences.

That is indeed a related thread.
The member refused to accept that when HP publishes in a sentence that "non-HP power adapters will be rejected" is HP's stand on HP's product.
Here are two Elite Slice compatible HP displays
HP Mini-in-One 24 Display HP product number 7AX23AA
HP Mini-in-One 24 Display HP product number 7AX23U9
27" compatible display
HP P27v G4 Monitor HP product number 9TT20AA

Hi,
It would be nice if you would start over with a good description of the issue with details of the problem.
As your thread is written exactly what you want is not clearly written.
I found a power adapter for the HP Slice G2 on eBay.de for 17.58 Euros + shipping
Here is the Maintenance & Service manual
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05238178.pdf
From the setup manual
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05238254.pdf
"Connecting power
The Elite Slice can be connected to a powered port on an HP monitor or it can be connected to an AC outlet using the HP adapter that shipped with the Elite Slice. Power sources not obtained from HP will be rejected."
That may be the crux of the problem if I understand what you have written. a USB type-C power supply is not an option.

Hi,
first of all, thanks for the response even after that long time.
I should have updated this thread earlier, sorry for that, but i ultimately disassembled that device and am using parts for spare usage, even sold few bits.
Purchasing another power supply wasnt the issue here, i have enough, just was about to find out if I can bypass a broken power input (due whatever reasons) via USB-C.
However, i still would like to get some, like at least 2 or 3 semi-new, HP screen models in 24-27" range, which are either officially marked as supported (i dont find anything about) or known by personal usage/experience, which can power some Elite Slice via USB-C.
I work with a wide range of screens and vendors, however from HP i never got some USB-C one in my hand to test it with.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply here, the Mini One looks very pretty.
As for the 27inch one, this doesnt even have USB-C, just VGA and HDMI, so how can it power some Elite Slice?
Having some P27h (not v) G4 over here, nice devices, even at that size i prefer 2540x1440.
