Good morning everyone, I bought an HP Elite Tower 800 g9 i7 with 260W power supply. I need to install a more powerful video card (Asus DUAL-GTH1650-04GD6-P-EVO), but the original HP power supply is not powerful enough. Can I replace the original power supply with the 500W L05757-800 model?
Thanks so much if anyone can help me.
Fabio

Well, the 550-watt power supply (p/n: M86264-001) appears to be in stock with HP in Italy:
This would probably be your best (or least bad) purchase option in my opinion.
Hope this was helpful.

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!
It appears you got an HP Elite SFF 800 G9 PC, not the Tower model, with a 260-watt power supply with p/n: M86263-001 -please verify.
Officially, there are no power supply upgrades, or at least, none that I could find. And no, an L05757-800 is too big and wouldn't fit in your case.
However, there may be a chance that this 500-watt power supply (which works in an HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF), may be compatible with your small form factor PC: p/n: L77487-003 (L77487-001, L89233-001):
Check the dimensions for fit inside your desktop. Here in the US, I would suggest buy and try it out, and if it doesn't work, return to sender. That's what I did when I purchased this power supply for my SFF, but it worked and kept it. Anyway, doing this may not be so easy in your country.

However, if you got the Tower model, then look no further than this 550-watt power supply, with p/n: M86264-001 "SKO-PSU 550W ENT22 EPA92 5x12V".

Thank you so much for your immediate response.
To be clear, I'll send you the photo of the HP model I bought.
I also send the photo of the technical sheet where I highlighted the presence of a 260W power supply.
Is it possible that there is the wrong technical data sheet or is it possible that in the Tower with I7 13700 processor with integrated UHD Graphics 770 card there is such a small power supply?

It so happened that your particular HP Elite Tower 800 G9 Desktop PC (627Z1ET) did indeed come with a 260-watt power supply, see: HP PartSurfer. In other words, the specs are correct.
However, as I mentioned in my previous post, there is a 550-watt power supply for your Tower (p/n: M86264-001), which would meet your power needs perfectly.
Hope this was helpful.

Good afternoon. I proceeded to buy the suggested power supply (p/n: M86264-001), installed it inside the HP Elite Tower 800 G9 Desktop PC and it works perfectly. It can correctly power the Asus DUAL-GTH1650-04GD6-P-EVO video card.
I confirm that the power supply has many more cables and connectors than the original; There is no need to mount any adapter because the PSU has 2 6/8 pole connectors supplied in addition to the one needed for the mainboard.
Thanks for the support 😉
