Can I use eGPU on my Eliteone 1000G2 34" please

Considering the size of the display you stated, this seems to be an odd request.  Are you connecting it to an HDTV?

There are some eGPU products that will operate with the USB 3.1 Gen 2 Thunderbolt that your  HP Elite one 1000 G2 has.

You will just have to ensure that the eGPU you choose has that capability before puling the trigger on the purchase.

Hello and thanks for your response. I am hoping to run a more powerful GPU card for gaming as the installed graphics is limited for more recent games.

Ok.

It will be to an external display if you use an eGPU.

Choose your upgrade eGPU and the display well.

Sorry late replying. I was going to try and use the egpu back into the machine via the "display port in" connection. Is that workable? Thanks again, Bill.

Yes, I have the same config. Egpu, thunderbolt connection and displayport IN connection. After cables connection you need to press Win + P keys and choose second display. It will increase your fps in games vs single connection by thunderbolt cable only.
