Greetings

I found this motherboard on ebay  https://www.ebay.com/itm/165654517796. The pc is the HP EliteDesk 705 G3 MT AM4.

The seller doesn't know if it can support ryzen. I guess the only way to know is buy it and test it out. Does anyone know if it can support ryzen cpu's?

If I was in the US I would buy it just to test. However I have to do research first since I am abroad and extra the shipping and tax will make it a lot more expensive.

thanks

Hi:

Yes, the model series supports AMD Ryzen processors up to the AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO 1700X Processor.

I have attached the 705 G3 specifications pdf, below.

Check to make sure the processor you want to install supports the onboard AMD graphics or if it needs a discrete graphics adapter to be installed.

For example, the Ryzen Pro 1700X does require you to install a graphics card.

Thanks for the help and manual

I was hoping to find the 2200g in the list but it isn't.
