I am not 100% sure about the 800 G1 (I have the 800G2) but I'd open the case and see what you have now. There should be plenty of spare for several 2.5" and or 3"5 drive. All SSD are either nVME format or 2.5" and I have never seen any desktop that could not take a 2.5" SSD so basically and one should work.
You make need a 2.5" to 3.5" bracket to follow guideline, but as SSD do not vibrate, I usually duct tape the 2.5" models and I have never had any issues.
As a consultant/var, I have brackets and other parts in stock, but I like duct tape 🙂
