HP Recommended

Is it possible to upgrade the processor on this workstation?
HP EliteDesk 800 G3 DM 35W

My current processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700T CPU @ 2.80GHz

But it tells me it's not compatible with Windows 11. Any suggestions for upgrade?

Unfortunately the 800 G3 DM does not support any Intel processors that meet Microsoft's minimum W11 processor requirements.

 

I upgraded my 800 G3 DM 35W to W11 a couple of years back and it works just fine as it is.

 

Watch this video for the easiest way to currently do that if you are interested:
