HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF

The specs page for the HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF lists various storage options for both SATA and NVMe. The largest sizes are 2TB for SATA and 1TB for NVMe. Are these just configurations or is there and upper limit on size for each? Any one know if I could put, say, a 4TB drive in either?

For the 4GB SATA drive -  you might want to look at this

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02826744.pdf

If you study that document, it would seem the boot drive can be a GPT drive (which would allow the 4TB drive to be the boot drive)

Changing the  NVMe drive to larger than the 1TB, would be similar.  Going beyond 2TB for a NVMe, IDK
