Microsoft Windows 11

Hi!

My monitor (3 years old) HP EliteDisplay e273q got screen split apart and one part (on the right side) became bright and this bright area is covered almost the whole right part and circled up at the corners of the screen. It was happened just after today's returning to work.

It is not related to any kind driver or OS issue as this is the symptom/picture when input cable was detached and monitor is powered alone only.

Looking forward for ideas, advises and thoughts on this.

Thank you!

This is a hardware problem.  There are disassembly instructions here but any repair shop will cost more than than a used one eBay around $160-300 USD

 It happens occasionally

The circuit board that controls the display went bad.

You might get a used one and keep the old one as its display screen is probably still good.
