Hp Elitedesk G9 SFF
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi! I have an HP Elite (Elitedesk) 600 G9 SFF with an Intel Core i5-12500 processor, Q670 chipset. The computer has a 250W power supply and does not power the dedicated graphics system. I would like to install a graphics card in it so that I can play simple games from time to time. I want to buy a new graphics card, I chose RX6400 or Intel ARC380. While watching the review, I noticed that the A380 requires the RESIZABLE BAR option to be enabled. In the case of HP eltiedesk g9 computers, we have SFF and Tower options.

The Tower option (also Q670 chipset) was released with the following graphics chipsets:
NVIDIA® T400 (4 GB GDDR6 dedicated);
NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 3060 (12 GB GDDR6 dedicated);
NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 3050 (8 GB GDDR6 dedicated);
Intel® ArcTM A380 Graphics (6 GB GDDR6 dedicated);
AMD RadeonTM RX 6300 Graphics (2 GB GDDR6 dedicated).
Intel ARC A380 was available, however, only with Intel Core 13th processors (e.g. i5-13500).

The SFF option had the following GPU models:
NVIDIA® T400 (4 GB GDDR6 dedicated);
NVIDIA® T400 (2 GB GDDR6 dedicated);

AMD RadeonTM RX 6300 Graphics (2 GB GDDR6 dedicated)

Question: Can anyone confirm that Intel ARC380 works properly in the HP Elitedesk 800 G9 SFF I have? Specifically, does this HP model have the RESIZABLE BAR option in UEFI? The A380 is a newer graphics system and, despite driver bugs, has greater hopes for the future than the RX6400. There is almost no GTX1650 on the market, I don't want to spend money on the A2000. Regards, I'm waiting for your answer and I wish you a Merry Christmas!

I've installed the a380 in my machine. i am a bit worried about airflow given that the gpu fan has less than a centimeter of clearance from the power supply, so i leave my top case off while playing palworld 😉 but it works like a charm and showed resizable bar as enabled without me doing anything. I've found the a380 to be quite a little powerhouse for my needs and with the recent driver updates performannce seems generally good.

i might try to come up with a solution to moving the hot gpu exhaust air out of the case without having to take off the top, but it seems to be holding up just fine, no power draw issues at all, just a bunch of fan noise when you ramp up gpu use to try and keep it as cool as possible. i'm impressed with the performance of this low profile gpu.
