Product: HP Envoy 700-327c
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

HP Envy700-327c with Memphis B motherboard, Intel i7 4770 processor and Widnows 7 Professiona 64 bit.. Motherboard has maximum mempry of 16 GB . Is there a replacement motherboard that that will provide 32GB+?

Hi,

 

I think 32 GB is the max memory you can do on the Intel H87 chipset. This requires two memory channels and would have four DIMM slots capable of using 8 GB memory modules in each memory slot.

 

HP has provided one memory channel on your MB. 

 

Your question is open ended because you may be able to install a different MB that is capable of doing 64+ GB of memory.

 

Installing a newer MB may require upgrading other components and can break Windows activation if you have an OEM license. And many newer MBs don't support Windows 7 anymore.
