Hi:

Both HP Envy 17T-AE100 CTO product numbers in the HP PartSurfer website use the same battery.

HP PartSurfer

916814-855
Assembly-battery 3C 55Whr 4.8Ah LI LK

HP does not sell the battery you need, so the only suggestion I can offer would be to do a search by the HP battery part number of 916814-855 and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references that part number.

Check on Amazon or eBay for example.

thanks.

yeah HP doesnt make this battery anymore. just very confusing with all the different comments online etc. and HP really is NO help.

anyway I found these 2 sources with batteries that all seem to be compatible with 916814-855 & 916814-421 & 916814-541(which is the one that seems to be the one I have from past paperwork. HP website is horrid and I cant find squat).

I just didn't want to buy non HP parts like that are offered on Amazon;

1st has horrid reviews the last has very good reviews https://www.amazon.com/s?k=new+genuine+hp+envy+17t+series+52wh+4.55ah+battery+lk03xl+l09281-855&crid...

amazonamazon

The ONLY site I can find has an HP battery is.  https://www.usadaptersdepot.com/hp-laptop-batteries-c-121_89/original-battery-hp-envy-17tae100-cto-4...  have NO idea who these people are

IF you had any experience with any of these brands or any comments at all I would appreciate it. I hate throwing darts blindly.
