HP Envy 23 with Beats Audio screen replacement

Heyo,

I've been trying to find sources for getting a replacement screen for this specific HP envy model I have with the beats audio, but I cannot find a replacement anywhere including on the website.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

PS. I am unable to send the PC to be repaired elsewhere, please do not suggest shipping the unit, as I am unable to send it.

According to HP, they do not recommend a do-it-yourself repair: "CAUTION: HP does not recommend repairing or replacing the screen yourself. This can void warranty options and cause further damage to the computer."

However, that is a moot point as a replacement screen (HP p/n: E1K96AA) is unavailable, not by HP or any other site I searched.

Another option would be to connect an external monitor to your HP Envy 23 and use that as a replacement "screen".

I can say with a high degree of confidence that at least at this moment in time, right now, there are no replacement screens available anywhere. That is not to say that tomorrow or next week someone makes this available, say on eBay for example, but I figure the chance for that to happen is pretty slim.

And even if you were able to get a replacement screen, you would still need to remove and then replace the screen, which is quite involved as this Youtube video shows: Screen Replacment: hp pavilion 23 all in one model 23-g011 - YouTube
