With the 32" Envy All in one, how can I find out what Thumberbolt support it has?  I want to know if I purchase a Thumderbolt 3 external drive, if this machine will utilize the latest thunderbolt speeds, or if thunderbolt 1 or 2 would give me the same speed?

Thanks

@Fred_101

Your machine is an HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a0014, its specs

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06525385

It only has  1 headphone/microphone combo; 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A. No Thunderbolt port.

Its motherboard shows it has 2 USB 3,1 ports which ARE NOT Thunderbolt ports

Maybe I got the model number wrong?
HP Support Assistant reports my model as : Product number   6YR45AA#ABA
The manual and the ports on the back seem to indicate that it does have USB3.1 USBC and a thunderbolt port.

Any thoughts on this?  The image above seems to imply that this machine has a thunderbolt port.  But is it Thunderbolt 3?
