My 34" curved screen is getting lines on one side and is growing. I want to know if there is a replacement part I can get for this since it is out of warranty. I can replace the screen, but don't know where to buy the part. Any ideas?

Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
I understand the parts aren't available on the HP Parts Store, however, if you don't wish to Contact HP and have it either repaired/replaced, you could purchased these parts at any of the local online stores as well, considering the parts are universal - 819487-001 & 819488-001.
It could be rather expensive locally and I would personally suggest checking with the HP phone support instead.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I understand you want to replace the HP Envy 34 screen/display,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Are these physical lines or cracks you are referring to or is it the lines on the display?
If it's the lines on the screen and not physical cracks as such, I recommend you check with an alternate monitor to know if that works.
If the issue is related to physical cracks or lines, and the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, liquid spilled on it, etc.) there could be a hardware failure and in such cases, you may need to get the computer repaired via HP (there could be a charge involved if the PC isn't covered by the accidental damage protection plan)
You could purchase the part from HP, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: Click here & order it via the HP Parts store (Click here) or alternatively, Contact HP for setting up an order/service via phone support :
HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:
* Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
* Enter Product number or select to auto detect
* Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.

@Riddle_Decipher
They are digitial lines, not a physical problem. I will connect another monitor today and check to see if those lines transfer to the other screen. I have a hub that should allow me to do that.
It isn't covered under warranty so I'm seeing if I can take care of it myself. I will get back to you.
Thank you for your suggestions.

I attached a second screen and it does not have the problem. I attached pics of the problem. I think replacing the screen would fix this I just need to know where to get it. In the close up photo, the circular lines just are from the way the phone takes pictures, but all the vertical lines (about an inch out from edge) are there plus the corner is all messed up. Thanks.Circle lines are from camera, verticle lines and damaged corner or the problem

Thank you for replying with this detailed response 😉
I appreciate your time and efforts,
You are right, if the issue doesn't occur on the alternate monitor and yet it does on this device,
I recommend you replace or repair the LCD via HP:

I have EXACTLY the same problem as the prior poster. I purchased it from Costco in March 2016 (see below).
It seems patently unfair that I should only get a little more than 2 years' use out of an $1800 machine before I have to trash it and spend additional hard earned money to replace it.
How did you resolve the prior poster's dilemma? Please, help me.

I didn't resolve it. The curved screen isn't even available to purchase to be replaced. I just live with 10% of my screen being screwed up. I won't be buying HP again. I don't expect a forever warrenty but not being able to replace it is BS.
