Hello, I was wondering if I could upgrade the processor/graphics card on my HP Envy 700-147c, so that my pc is more capable of running high end games. The processor I am currently getting is the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3rd gen, and the graphics card I am getting is the Geforce GTX 1660 Ti. I am fairly new to pc building, and I was wondering if I need to get anything else in order to run these two at their highest speeds at a smooth rate, like a new power supply or motherboard. If there is anything I need, please leave suggestions to good products ! Cheers !

STOP and do some reading. Your unit is circa 2013. There is a published CPU list, and your choice is NOT listed. HP tests units, and then moves on with other products. Ryzen supported chipsets were 2017.
The PCIex16 slot is Gen3, not 3. Would expect a 10-15% reduction in speed.
You said "getting", is that a done deal, like you purchased? WOW ! Expect to pay a hefty restock fee.
