HP ENVY TPE01-3000i
Microsoft Windows 11

Bought an SSD-only computer with the intention of adding my old 2 TB HD.
The computer worked great out of the box.
The computer has two internal SATA connections and drive cages and is set up for the simple addition of drives.
However, after adding a SATA HD, the computer will not boot up because it looks for an operating system on the HD and ignores the SSD. The BIOS does not have the option to reorder the boot sequence and does not show both drives. After removing HD everything works again.

Connecting the HD as an external USB drive works - but slowly.
Costco also sells similar HP ENVY with both HD and SSD - so it is possible!
