Since I am not allowed to contact HP I hope the community can help.
I have bought a USB-C dock G5 and so far always used it with DisplayPort cables, but now I have connected it with a HDMI cable for the first time and the max resolution I can sellect is 1920x1080 while my screen is 5120x1440. I do not care much for refresh rate, for I connect my HP worklaptop, but this is also maxed at 59. Everything I can found online makes me think 5120x1440 should be possible, so does anyone know if it could be a setting?
Since it is my worklaptop I cannot install the dock software. Other solution is to simply by a new DP cable, but I want to make sure my dock is not faulty.
Setup:
Laptop: HP Elitebook 830 GB
Dock: HP USB-C Dock G5
Screen: Samsung c49rg90 (only screen connected)
Cable: Tried mutiple cables, incl. (dont laugh) AudioQuest Cinnamon HDMI 2m
