Operating System: Linux
Hi guys,
I know it's not actually a desktop but it's close enough. The Microserver Gen8 has only the old RGB connection. I have used it with a HP P410 PCIe RAID controller for a better compatibility with linux. However, since my Boxee Box gave up I wonder if the server could be used as a media streaming box. I was thinking about using the onboard RAID controller and free the PCIe slot for a VGA with a HDMI connection so I could hook it up with my tv. The server was upgraded to a Xeon E3 and 8GB of RAM. Any chance it could work?? Thanks!!
