Hello. My monitor´s screen works perfectly fine but I´m having problems powering it on. The contact point at the back of the monitor, where the power cable goes in, seems to be weak and unstable (light goes on and off), to the point that I can barely keep it on anymore. Please, HELP! I do not want to trash an otherwise functional monitor and bring more unnecessary waste to this planet! Thank you.

That would indicate to me that the header where the power connector plugs into the display needs to be replaced.
I am unaware of any other way to resolve that.
