I have a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500f and need to get drivers for it (Any I would evem go back to win 7 if need).
Mainly right now I need the WiFi Driver
It seems as HP has taken a rather strange Stand and does not have drivers for it available!!
They say they no longer support older computers at all
What is up with this - and I know all the issues with old compuers but it still would work fine for many things.
I have always bought HP (or Dell) because I KNEW I could get drivers for them even many years later
I have some old Dells that are 25 years old and I can still get drivers from Dell for them.
This move from HP with deffinatley affect my future Computer Purchaes.
Anyway if anyone knows of a site I can get the old rivers I sure would appreciate it!

Hi:
Yes, I agree with you about HP's PC support retirement policy at the 10-year mark.
It is very frustrating when you try to help folks find drivers for PC's that have passed the support age.
It further complicates matters when we can no longer access the HP ftp driver site which has every driver they ever released since day one.
HP ended that access last year, citing 'security reasons.'
So, we are left with having to resort to creative methods to find answers.
You can find all of the W7 drivers you need for your PC from this reputable 3rd party driver website.
HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500f drivers (driverscollection.com)
I can actually give you the link to Ralink Wi-Fi driver you need from another HP PC that is still in support.
MediaTek (Ralink) 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Adapter Driver
5.0.53.0
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71001-71500/sp71421.exe
They seem to support their business PC's for 20 years.
