Hi,
I recently purchased a OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop, Windows 11 Home, Intel® Core™ i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 model and wanted to upgrade the RAM to 32 GB. The Kingston Fury Part number KF3200C16D4/8GX which I believe should work is only showing as 2400 MHZ when put in the extra DIMM slots. Is there a specific location I have to go to get the HP37D4U1S8MR-8XR model of RAM? I can't seem to find that anywhere online. Do I have to order that direct from HP?

Is that Kingston part number of memory that was originally installed?
Kingston does not manufacture it nor show it on their website.
I really can't search for memory for you since the identification you provided is too generic.
We need the HP Product name or Product number, just as the original thread form asked you when you authored this thread.
In Windows type MSINFO into the search box and press the enter key.
A system Information dialogue window will appear.
Look for the System SKU on the ninth line down in the list on the right side of the dialogue window.
Post it in your next reply to your thread.

Hi Erico,
SKU is showing 33T59AA#ABA
Also running wmic memorychip in cmd shows the following for my RAM. You can see the difference between the two it came with versus the two I put in.

Yes. Indeed.
Part of the problem is that the middle two have the same part number.
Try alternating then in the DIMM slots to see if it makes a difference.
If you can find two more modules that match the originally installed pair, then the system should work as expected.
That is the first module in the list, which is probably what was originally there.

The part number KF3200C16D4/8GX is not available as far as I can search.
