HP Omen 25L
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I recently got a HP Omen 25L. It is pretty quient when idle except for the GPU fan making a bit of noise when running on 1000 rpm. Most 3070 gpus turn their fan off on lower temps but mine does not. Have HP made it so they never turn off or have i accidentally tweaked a setting somewhere?

Hello
is this new with this type of GPU as you say?
to my knowledge the fan of graphics cards up to this day still work!
They are set to actually slow down depending on the temperature, but a GPU is rarely below 20 ° C, the fan does not turn off.
If it turns off the gpu will heat up even more quickly
You can always try software designed to change the behavior of fans, but I don't recommend it at all.
What is not normal is that it is too noisy!
