Microsoft Windows 11

I've been having ping spiking issues very consistently and I was wondering what kind of Wi-Fi card upgrades my motherboard supports and what options there are because I'm pretty clueless to all the specs of stuff so if someone could kind of guide me in the right direction or even just plainly tell me what I can upgrade into that would be perfect.

The drivers you have installed are somewhat outdated.

The current driver version for the RTL8852AE is 6001.10.356.3

sp157102.exe

Give that driver a try and if you are still having issues with the card afterward you should be able to replace the RTL8852AE with this model card:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 non-vPro   HP part #/SPS # L35282-005

It's not an upgrade, but it should work consistently better than the Realtek card.

What model Wi-Fi card does your PC have now?

Your PC has an AMD processor, correct?

Have you tried updating the Wi-Fi card driver?

What is the Wi-Fi driver version and date currently installed?

1. I believe the Wi-Fi card I currently have is the "realtek rtl8852ae wifi 6 802.11ax pcie" (not 100% sure)

2. AMD Ryzen 5 5600G

3. Drivers are up to date (I think)

4. Version: 6001.10.352.0
