Hello,

I purchased an HP Omen 30L a couple years ago and for the past 10 months or so I have been experiencing random shut offs almost daily. The crashes are completely random and happen even when I am not using the PC (I will go to bed and wake up the next day with the PC completely off). But it also happens while I am working on things that do not require too much power.

When the PC crashes I am unable to turn it right back on. If I press the power button to turn it on after the crash, the lights of the PC light up and then PC shuts off again and all lights turn off. However, if I wait 5-10 mins and turn it back on, the PC stays on for the rest of the day with no issue.

Below are my specs. I have no idea where to start troubleshooting. I have updated everything.

Removed the Omen Gaming Hub because it was overclocking the PC and thought that could be it, but its not.

I am unable to find any overclocking options when I go into BIOS - not sure how the PC got overclocked.

I looked in the event viewer and at the time of the crash I got error "6008 - The previous system shutdown at 4:58:36 AM on ‎12/‎27/‎2023 was unexpected."

Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.

I've been experiencing the VERY same issue.  Have you had any luck with response from HP support yet?  Mine started doing this exactly 1 year to the day that my warranty ran out.
