Dust in the processor cooling fan
failing memory module(s)
Hard disk too close to maximum storage capacity

You can use the WhoCrashed? utility to let Windows analyze your OS memory dump and let you know if the issue is software/firmware.
Use the tutorial information at the software page to help setup your OS for a memory dump whenever it crashes.
