Linux

Hello there

I'd like to upgrade my much beloved Omen 880-100ng.
I run both Linux and windows. The windows sits on the HD so it is slowwww...

I'm looking for more power, speed and capabilities, especially when it comes to working locally with some open source LLM models or the likes, So most likely better GPU.

What would you recommend as an upgrade option?

Many thanks in advance

According to Crucial, you can increase to 64 Gb of ram, on the disk you can just put a bigger one, it already has a M.2 NVME.

Hi @ETil

With the power supply you have, you can use a RTX 2060 without any problems.

Thank you resistencia

That was a quick one.
What about SSD and internal memory, any recommendations?
