I have 2 questioins - usually GPU has like 3 years warranty,, and alot of RAM manufacturers has lifetime warranty, But all I know is that HP Omen only has one year warranty. Does it have some sort of individual component warranty? If I after 2 years myself find that my GPU/ram is faulty - can I get it on warranty?
My second question is - my OMEN has good temp for the core, but my VRAM temp skyrockets when gaming close to 100 degrees. Can I myself change the thermal pads for the vram without voiding the warranty? (my guess is I can't, but I don't find any information about it) I've seen other people dissemble the HP-version of 3080 and it has really bad thermal pads.
greetings.

Hello
unlike items purchased separately, graphics card, hard drive, ram memory, if you buy a computer already assembled, you only have the manufacturer's warranty
Here HP, therefore, the computer and everything that is installed has the HP warranty, if it is one year, it is one year for everything!
If you modify a component, the warranty may no longer be applicable.
