Hello

How 2 reset "cmos bios"  password on HP Omni 120-1106er Desktop PC  (all in one) Info

 

i tried this

 

"jumper located close to the memory modules" not fore the bios,  I suppose.

 jumper  next to the cmos batarey dont have # on pins.

I reset the password on HP OMNI 120-1204er Aio PC by this method

 

In factory settings strap pins 2&4

1 You need to strap pins 3 & 4
2 power on the unit
3 shut it down
4 remove jumper from pins 3 & 4

5 put back to pins 2&4
6 power on the unit, and your password will be cleared.

Resetting BIOS password

Use the following procedure to reset the BIOS password:

  1. Power off the computer.
  2. Note the location and orientation of the CMOS/Password jumper, as it will be placed back into the same position.

  3. Remove the CMOS/Password jumper from the motherboard.
  4. Power on the computer.
  5. Power off the computer.
  6. Return CMOS/Password jumper to its original position.
  7. Power on the computer, and immediately press F10. The BIOS password has been cleared

I have a hp omni 120 AiO PC and can't clear the BIOS password. The motherboard looks the same as in the pictures of this thread. It is not clear to me how the pins are numbered. Can somebody help me in this?
