I am wanting to upgrade my graphics card from a GTX 1050 to a GTX 1660 super, the problem I have is the psu doesn't have anything at all for a graphics card and the system seems to rely on using the power for the GTX 1050 from the PCIe port. I know I can upgrade to a GTX 1650 that uses the same principal but I would prefer something better.

Is there a psu I could use to swap out with the one currently in the pc in order to allow me to upgrade to the GTA 1660 super?

Many Thanks

@JOPO95,

I have created a spreadsheet to answer this question. The HP 690 series uses the Lincs or Sunflower motherboards. Your unit has the Lincs. The HP 690 series has been tested with the HP L05757-800 (500W PSU).  That gives you 200W +/-  of power. The GTX 1660 Super is only 125W.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Thank you for this.

I have looked and can't seem to find where I can get one of the psu, do you have any idea where I could source one?

Many Thanks
