Hi
i need to replace the case fan in my hp pavillon 6680t but i am unsure about the part number. I think it might be PVA092G12M which is a 92 x 92 x 25 mm size fan with 3 inputs. Is this correct or do i need something else?
thanks

@jjdonohue, welcome to the forum.
If the number that you provided is on the fan you should be fine. Here is the fan on ebay. It shows that it is for a different model, but this is because HP uses the same components in different models. You can check to see if HP has the part number in HP Partsurfer.

It seemed like this case fan was struggling in there but truthfully it was hard to tell if the cpu fan was causing the noise or even the power supply one since it seems like they all run most of the time.

@jjdonohue, I suggest checking the parts list in HP Partsurfer to see if it is listed. If not, you can contact the Tech Support for one of the third party processor cooler manufacturers. They will be able to help you find one that will work.
