I currently have an HP Pavilion 570. The Specific model is unknown but it came with a AMD A10 9700 CPU and 8gb of ddr4 ram (2400mhz). I swapped the 1TB hard drive for a 512gb ssd with windows 11. I am looking into upgrading the cpu to something like a ryzen 5 2600, for more power in cpu intensive games. What cpus are compatible with the system and if so, what would i have to do to make these work, for example new drivers of something like that.

@macin09,

Your HP Pavilion Desktop PC 570-p0XX as fitted with the Willow2 motherboard (SSID: 82FE) with p/n: 910104-001 "Motherboard - Willow2, AMD, Bristol, Ridge, AM4":

Can be fitted/is compatible with the following processors:

Look, in theory there should be compatible Ryzen processors for the Willow2 motherboard, since it got the correct socket and chipset. However, I haven't seen any Willow2 motherboard systems fitted with a Ryzen CPU, as HP most likely restricted processor compatibility and has not released a BIOS update.

The AMD A12-9800 (4-Cores, 4-Threads, 3.80 GHz up to 4.20 GHz, 65-watt TDP) is the fastest processor available for your system.

Kind Regards,
