Pavilion 570-p017c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am a PC tech by trade and doing some hardware upgrades for someone. But have run right into a brick wall right off the bat. This system has a 1TB mechanical drive by default. I am attempting to install a Western Digital Blue 1TB M.2 SSD and then clone the original drive to it, but neither the BIOS nor Windows will see that it is there. Here is what I've done thus far:

1. Made sure the drive was seated tightly, repeatedly.

2. Updated the BIOS to 35, as it was still on 14.

3. Made sure the slots were enabled in the BIOS.

What am I missing here? Does this Lubin board simply not support this SSD? I've found nothing to indicate that.

To clarify further which SSD I bought, it is this:

WD Blue 3D NAND 1TB PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, M.2 2280 - WDS100T2B0B
