HP Pavilion 570-p030

Hi guys,

So I am looking to upgrade my desktop Pavilion 570-p030 PC which does not have a designated GPU. I was just wondering what graphics cards are compatible with my desktop without the need to switch out my power supply unit. Mind you I don't need to have too much of a demanding GPU. Something like a GTX 650 is fine if it can fit and be supplied with adequate power. Would a GTX 650 be adequate?

@vilecandy,

Here is some info you will need. It is about the motherboard and measurements.

The GTX 650 is an old Legacy BIOS card. If you do try it, read up on Secure Boot.   Your system has UEFIvBIOS, which needs some changes to run a Legacy card.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Okay is it hard to change the settings in BIOS so that it is compatible with the old card?
