Just upgraded an HP Pavilion 590-p0127cb from 1 x 4GB DDR4 2666 to 2 x 16 GB DDR4 2666 and HP diagnostics confirmed the memory as working.  However , Windows won't stop showing that busy circle underneath the HP logo at boot, or sometimes it's a black screen with the monitor still on but no Windows.  Once it was a diagnosis message.  Any ideas?  The PC appears to support 32 GB per HP specs.

Thanks.

Restored BIOS settings to default and it seemed to do the trick.
