HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2176z Bundle PC (product 33V39AA#ABA)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi I currently have an HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2176z Bundle PC (product 33V39AA#ABA) which comes stock with a 400 w power supply. I am looking to upgrade the psu to a 500 w HP psu (part # L05757-800). I know this will fit in the case, but will the stock cable that connects the psu to a wall outlet function properly for this higher wattage power supply? I am located in the US if that matters and I have attached pictures of the cable. psu 1.jpgpsu 2.jpgpsu 3.jpgpsu 4.jpg

Thank you in advance.

@rkozlowski17 -- Yes, any power-supply purchased in the USA that is compatible with a computer purchased in the USA will be compatible.

Why are you upgrading your power-supply? Do you want to add a very high-end graphics adapter card that you use for "online gaming", and it states that it requires more power than your 400 W power-supply can deliver?

Check the label on that FOXCONN cord: 10 A & 125 V. So, it is rated to work with up to 1250 Watts.

Cable will work fine.  Here is a picture  of the one you want to buy.  It ships from German and has the standard C15 socket

I have no idea if the power supply is compatible but the plug is

It seems that the author already has selected a compatible power-supply., and the author is asking about the external power-cord's compatibility.

The bottom most picture clearly shows the type of cable that plugs in so it confirms that the external power-cord will fit.  Sometimes a picture is worth 1000 words
