Every time I boot the system, it gives me a system fan error. I intend to use this system for a budget PC build. I’ve already updated the bios and did a ton of windows updates on the system. All fans (CPU, GPU, case) to my knowledge, do spin. I used FanController to see what fans the motherboard could detect, and it was able to detect all fans except for the case fan.

There is one case fan, one CPU fan, and one GPU fan. The CPU fan is plugged into the 4-pin CPU fan header, and the case fan is plugged into a 3-pin header with something like "SYS_FAN 1" written next to it. Just above that header is another fan header that says "CHASSIS_FAN". I'm not sure what the difference is, but the color of the SYS_FAN header matches the cable coming from the case fan, so I plugged the fan in there. The motherboard is a Pegatron motherboard (SSID: 2A86), also known as an IPMTB-TK Motherboard. Temps are fine, the fans are just super loud. Any advice to fix this/stop the error prompt from showing up on every boot would be great, thanks.

System fan error normally has a code, such as 90B.

If all fans  are spinning, then one that has a sense wire ( a 4-pin fan) has a problem.

That is most likely to be the CPU fan.

I moved you thread from the notebook section to the desktop PC section.
