Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0067c
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The version of BIOS currently will support Ryzen 7 2700.

If I update the BIOS with the latest Version, What CPU's will it support.

The board has the B350 chipset.

Would be nice if HP would put more information about what the newer flash, fixed CPU support, ...ect...

Unfortunately, your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0067c as fitted with the Sunflower motherboard (SSID: 8433), cannot be upgraded beyond a Ryzen 7 2700, with the exception of a Ryzen 7 2700X, which has a higher base speed (3.70 GHz) than a Ryzen 7 2700 (3.20 GHz), and a higher "Boost" speed (4.35 GHz) vs. 4.10 GHz.

You are absolutely correct: HP could do a much better job, but they don't -something we have to live with I'm afraid.
