Hi I recently purchased a Pavilion Gaming PC and the system works great, but runs a little hot for me (up to 83 degrees C). Is it possible to install an additional fan, or upgrade the stock fans?
Thank you.

@rkozlowski17 , welcome to the Community.
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.

Thank you for the additional information, @rkozlowski17!
Here are the Specifications for your processor. The maximum temperature for it is 95C. The 83C is actually not too bad at this point. Adding another fan may be a bit difficult in your mid-size case. If you are creative it may work. However, you may be able to upgrade the system fan to a larger one. The main thing that you have to do is always create a positive pressure in the case. This will allow the heat to be dissipated. Here is a video that will explain airflow:

Ok thank you. I was thinking about adding a an intake fan on the vent inside of the case since there is space for one, but I do not know a lot about computer fans. I found a video where someone mounted a Noctua NF-A8 fan on this vent to act as an intake, but I do not know how to connect the fan to a power source.
Any insight would be appreciated.
