Hi all,

My HP pavillion Gaming Pc wont start. The computer itself turns on but nothing comes on the screen. I am thinking something is wrong with the motherboard and needs to be replaced. My first question is does anyone know how much a replacement from HP would cost? Also is it possible to replace the motherboard with another similar board? The model number is TG01-2170m. The Board Info says ERICA3_ERICA5 RevA motherboard. I am looking to replace with a ERICA_ERICA2 motherboard, and not sure if this is possible

I understand that you are getting no boot issues on your notebook, I am glad to assist you.

It is not recommended to replace the motherboard on the computer.

Meanwhile:- 

Please attempt the below steps fix the issue: 

Perform a hard reset 

Attempt a BIOS recovery  

Run the System Diagnostics tests
