Product: HP Pavilion Power Desktop - 580-023w

Hey, I have an HP Pavilion Power Desktop - 580-023w. The PC specs are: 

  • Motherboard: Odense2-K
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-7400 (Up to 3.5GHz)
  • Memory: 8 GB DDR4 2400MHz
  • Video graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB)

The power supply is only 300 watts and I'm replacing it with 500 watts. I installed 2x8 16gb ram 3200mah. Also, I'm installing a new CPU Intel I7-7700. One question I have is what graphics card should I get to replace my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB). The GTX 1060 that I have has one fan since the PC case is kinda small. Please help me thanks!

Your HP Pavilion Power 580-023w Desktop PC (Z5N95AA) as fitted with an Odense2-K motherboard (SSID: 82F1) is indeed still a solid upgradeable gaming platform.

So, combining affordability, performance and size, one of the best GPU upgrades with a 500-watt power supply, in my opinion, would be an RTX 4060 OC 8GB, such as this model: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/msi-rtx-4060-aero-itx-oc.b11828, or a slightly longer (two-fan) model (202 mm - 8 inches), which I believe would also fit in your PC (please measure!), such as this one: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-dual-rtx-4060-v2-oc.b11456.
